UPDATE!!!

Ok folks. Quick update. We are making steady progress on the Fireworks fund, but we are still short about 2500 dollars, maybe a bit less since we don’t have an exact count from all the locations. That amount will cover ‘this year’s fireworks, but we have to have at least 5500 in the bank to write a check for next year right away after this year’s program. We have to pay in advance. That is the way it has always been. So, we need about 7500 or thereabouts to have enough to ensure we are set for next year.

There are canisters in many places, including Portage, Birch Hill, Woodie’s (Sand Bay), and other local businesses. You can write a check and send it, made out to our local non-profit corporation:
